For Computing programs (CS, SE, AI, DS, CYS), the aggregate is calculated as: NU/NAT Test × 50% + HSSC × 40% + SSC × 10%. This same formula applies to Business programs (BBA, BA, AF, FT).
For Engineering programs (CE, EE, CV), the aggregate is: NU/NAT Test × 33% + HSSC × 50% + SSC × 17%. Engineering has a higher weightage on academic scores.
For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted. So: Score = Correct × 1 − Wrong × 0.25. Wrong answers = Attempted − Correct. Unattempted questions carry no penalty.
Yes! FAST NUCES accepts both NU Test and NAT marks. Use the NAT Calculator tab if you appeared in NTS NAT exam instead of the NU entrance test. Both are out of 100 for calculation purposes.
Based on 2024 data, Peshawar (PWR) and Chiniot-Faisalabad (CFD) campuses generally have lower closing merits compared to Islamabad (ISB) and Lahore (LHR), which are the most competitive. Merit varies by program.
